Iheat Ltd installed a 4kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system with 16 panels on the roof of the premise. This system featured all black monocrystalline panels with a Sollex inverter and a solar iBoost.

The iBoost is an immersion heater controller that uses excess generated electricity to heat water for free. The intelligent wireless system adjusts its power control with the varying household consumption ensuring only excess PV power is being diverted to your hot water.

Iheat and P&S Electrical contractors completed the installation over 2 days. Mr Rogers is delighted with his new solar photovoltaic (PV) installation and is enjoying cheaper energy bills.

Following the install, application to apply for the Government Scheme – the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) which will reward Mr Rogers financially for the electricity he generates and for electricity exported to the grid.

Low maintenance Solar panels can be installed on the roof or on a ground mount system, of your home or business, to be most efficient they should be south facing.

The inverter ideally should be located in a well ventilated space, however can be fitted in your loft space.
